In the early morning hours on Monday, November 12, 2012, a Nissan Maxima crashed into LuLu’s Car Wash on northwest 27th Avenue in Miami. Witnesses stated that the vehicle jumped a curb and went through the top of a tree at a very high rate of speed and crashed into the side of the car wash building. Luckily the car wash was closed and nobody other than the driver of the vehicle was injured. The driver of the Maxima appeared to be seriously injured but did not die in this Miami Car Accident.

A security camera at the car wash captured the incident on video. The dark grainy video shows the Maxima crashing through a metal gate and then the video shows smoke eminating from the side of the building. A witness who saw the crash was sure that the driver of the Maxima was dead but was then shocked to see the driver crawl out of the vehicle before he was air lifted to the hospital. It is hard to imagine that the driver of the Maxima that crashed in Miami did not suffer catastrophic injury or a significant Brain Injury.

This is one of the many strange Car Accidents in Miami where one does not know the cause. Could it be vehicle failure? Could it be a result of speeding? Could it be a result of alcohol or drugs? Could it have been caused by another vehicle that left the scene? These are all questions that the driver of the Maxima and his family and the owners of the Car Wash will want answered. As of now, Florida Highway Patrol has given no cause for the accident. Miami Personal Injury Lawyer Jeffrey S. Altman of The Altman Law Firm has worked on many Miami Car Accident cases but not many involved a car losing control, crashing through a gate, jumping over a tree and crashing into the side of a building. Our prayers are with the driver of the Nissan Maxima hoping that he survives his injuries.
